I had my bi-lateral eye surgery in June and am delighted with the results. I must admit to being terrified about going for it but very relieved when I was able to have a general anaesthetic for it to be done, which made the thought of it more bearable! I had my operation at the Nuffield Wessex and it really couldn't have been easier. Everyone was so nice and very re-assuring and I can truthfully say to anyone who is fearful - you just don't need to be! Recovery was quick and easy with just eye drops to put in over some weeks and quickly I was amazed to see so much - I had no idea my eyesight had deteriorated so badly!
