This takes the edge off our lovely but hyperactive rescue lurcher just enough to be able to train him. He still has all his energy and character but without the over-excitement that he has without it. It comes in granules, and I feed kibble, so he has it mixed in with a small amount of pilchards to make it moist and palatable, and he seems to enjoy that combination. It's very similar to other Tryptophan based products that I've used. All of these products should be much cheaper and I would be happier if they sold refill bags for environmental concerns.
