We have been working with Amanda, Matt and Keystone CPA team now for several years. They have always been a great company to work with and we utilized their services for our tax needs (think real estate rental properties, 1099 and W2s). Our taxes became more complex and we needed additional expertise. They always provided a lot of knowledge and helped us improve our financial situation by taking advantage of many of the tax laws to benefit us. They helped us truly maximize our profits and increase our wealth. We thought they were great before, but how they treated us and handled our financials during the pandemic has re-cemented how much we believe they are valuable as a company, how knowledgeable they are as accountants, and most importantly how much they care about us and truly have the best intentions for us as clients. COVID has negatively affected our finances, and with our complex taxes (think negative real estate rental incomes, job loss, sick leave due to covid and everything else in-between.) Keystone CPA guided us through the complex tax laws and educated us about the constant changes in tax laws that provide relief for struggling families. We recently were reassured that Keystone was always looking out for our best interest and kept us aware of any tax changes - even when we weren't looking ourselves! After they filed our taxes (after already postponing to obtain the maximum benefit for us while laws were being voted on), the IRS came out with new regulations 17 days after we filed that benefited us even further. We had no idea, until Keystone team reached out to us educating us about the new benefit that will entitle us to additional federal refund and with options on how to proceed to ensure we received our refund. We had no idea of this new IRS ruling, and if we had done our taxes elsewhere I doubt they would have contacted after the filing about additional refunds that we might be entitled to. I cannot recommend Keystone CPA enough, they will go above and beyond just filing your taxes. They are the only Accounting firm we have recommended to family and friends.
