We bought an LG ThinkQ washing machine 8.5 kg capacity. It turned out that the maximum capacity can only be used with couple of programs and, in fact, one of these two, cannot cope with even much lesser than 8.5. Here is an example: a bed sheet, two pillows, and a quilt sheet (all cotton) are enough to make the spinner stop. To spin them, one has to take out half of this, and spin them separately in two rounds. The so-called smart programs "weigh" your pair of jeans for a few minutes to only spit at the end the estimate of 3 hours to wash this... That's what we call the new smart way. You make the judgement.
