The order I placed recently was delivered, on a Sunday, to the wrong address, where there was no-one present. The courier, rather than re-delivering the following day, returned the order to Living With Birds
.
I reported this on your on-line chat and was told that the parcel was due to be delivered the following day, despite the message on the courier's tracking site that it was being returned.
The following day I tried to contact you by e-mail but this did not get a response.
Finally I telephoned, and my order was re-sent the following day - but also to the same wrong address! This time, someone was in and able to receive it.
Luckily, the 'wrong address' is very close and happens to be my in-laws family business. They often get deliveries for us and it is very hard for them to determine, in the course of a busy day, if the delivery is for them or not.
I'm very happy that you were able to replace my order quickly, but disappointed that my order is frequently delivered to the business nearby. I realise that the addresses of the properties are similar, but we need to impress on the courier the necessity to deliver to the correct location. A delivery on a Sunday should be avoided.
As ever, the quality of the goods was excellent, but the packaging is often on the point of falling apart once it arrives. I know the boxes are heavy but they should be capable of lasting through the delivery process. Maybe stronger boxes and/or handling guidelines for couriers.
