Closed account, situation could have been dealt with much better. My account was recently closed because I had mentioned I wanted to withdraw funds to help pay for bills. I understand why my account was closed for investigation, however I believe it could have been handled better. My finance situation was ok and bills was the first thing that came to me head as I thought me mentioning this would get the agent to assist me quicker.Unfortunately the agent did not ask me for future details and rushed to close my account. There was no understanding or attempt to gain additional information about my situation. Re-opening the account was much appreciated, however it took nearly 2 weeks. My bonus funds were lost and I had made deposits in order to obtain those bonus funds, else I would not have made those deposits in the first place. I believe agents should attempt to gain better understanding of customer's situation first before closing of accounts, as I was given no warnings or advance notice. Even a telephone call would have been appreciated. I receive phone call last year when I took part in much promotions during Christmas period and the agent spoke to me to understand my situation. I believe this form of communication would have been far better. I hope other customers are looked after far better, especially during Covid-19 Pandemic when they have other things going on, and closed accounts / worry of lost funds doesn't help them.
