This has been such a lovely gift. Once or twice I had already the the book when I saw it reviewed in my newspaper weekend supplement and felt very smug. The little freebies are quite fun to get but are fairly peripheral to me and I would not be bothered if there were none. One criticism is that the one time I choose from the back catalogue, I was charged an £5 supplement after I had made my choice. Was not pleased and this seemed misleading. Another is that there is always a crime fiction novel . I rarely read crime so I feel that limits my choice. This month I have decided to skip a choice as nothing appeals to me so I will defer til next month. All in all it is a great service and a lovely gift.
