UPDATE: AFTER LEAVING MY REVIEW I GOT AN EMAIL ASKING TO REVISE MY REVIEW BECAUSE THEY SENT THEIR CONDOLENCES. Was refunded for chicks DOA. However, they shipped with NO source of warmth in the middle of November from OHIO to CALIFORNIA. It was 60* when they arrived. 3 passed within 12 hours and another that I was trying to revive within 48 hours. While they were gracious about the refund- it was about the chicks suffering huypothermia needlessly. I would have rather had the chicks arrive safely (especially for $60 shipping). Half of my shipment(8 total) is DOA and I have one itsy bitsy tiny runt that I am trying to keep thriving. Will not be using MPC again. I have shipped a variety of different hatcheries and never had this many casualties. Chicks did not arrive banded for the different breeds so I am also having to guess which is which.
