I have been trying to book my residents parking permit in Brent. Brent council in their wisdom transferred their parking permit services to RingGo last year.
I have tried several times to apply for my permit. Payment kept failing. I contacted my bank to find out what the issue was and was told that the payment had been declined because RinGGo were not using the 3DS Secure payment processing system.
It is impossible to speak to anyone at RingGo as you can only call the automated service to book a parking session. Even their only enquiry system is not working. Have tried to send two messages today. Both appear to have failed.
Also, I found that I was being charged two different prices for the permit. I used their website, which was charging £239.20 and their mobile app, which was charging £113.20. Both were for a 12 month permit. I have no idea which one is correct.
Why is it so difficult to speak to a human being? Is it because they are being inundated with calls because of their poor service?
