I was sending a shipment from Sweden to Switzerland.
I found this website and everything seemed ok. They quote me 180€ for it. Nothing else was showed on the form, and they were aware that the shipment would go to Switzerland.
After paying the 180€, and before getting the label, I got an email from their support asking for another 180€ as it was what they expected the maximum import tax to be. This is utterly wrong to do, as they were aware of all the information before I paid, but I paid because I really needed to send it.
UPS did not show up on the day chosen by me. UPS told me they never got a request for pick-up, I had to schedule one with UPS directly.
After the parcel was delivered, I enquire about the extra 180€ as I had contacted UPS directly and they told me no tax was charged from what they could see.
ParcelABC said it can take up to 21 working days for them to get the tax invoice and proceed with the refund if needed. This was completely new information and no were it is written in their website.
I cannot ask for an invoice from UPS nor the Swiss tax agency because parcelABC has all the data about it. The only think I can do is trust them. The ones that do not even know Europe has several times zones and called it "German time" when I asked what is their timezone.
