I was hoping for a stelar experience, but sadly, this was not the case. The reason for 1 star is the lack of response from the customer service when needed. I’ve ordered on a Thursday and my order was shipped only Tuesday, even if the only information provided at checkout was “delivery fedex - 2 days”. But, I was fine with that; eating healthy, quality food (meat in this case) means a lot me. According to the FedEx tracking, I was supposed to receive the package on Thursday. On Friday morning, the package was nowhere to be found, and the update on FedEx was delivery date unknown. Concerned about the perishable nature of the package, I wrote to customer service asking for a full refund, since apparently FedEx is not in a hurry to deliver. I was ready to understand the various factors that might have been prevented this delivery from going smoothly, like the weather for example, but the lack of response or acknowledgement or action from the company was disheartening. It is now Sunday, the FedEx estimated delivery date is “pending”, and I have no package and no resolution to my request for a full refund. I can only imagine the condition of the raw meat that was almost one week on the road, and this is definitely nothing that I want to have in my fridge. So disappointed.
