The good news - we did get our book published in Kindle and Amazon paperback forms. The bad news - we worked with at least 5 different people "in charge" of getting our book done; we paid for editing, formatting, proofreading, uploaded to 5 different ebook sites, copyright, printing on Amazon, etc. To date we have received minimal editing (a friend did the majority of this), minimal proofreading (I ended up doing most of this), ISBN numbers for all 3 versions but they are listed as Authors Club instead of the author as publisher which is not what was agreed upon, our book uploaded to Amazon ebook and paperback (I had to finish hardcover myself). As of Monday, 3/4/24 it looks like they are out of business because the 4 phone numbers I have are all disconnected. Now I am trying to get done what they have not - uploading to other ebook sites that were in our agreement, copyright paperwork filed, etc. Lastly, I had to constantly stay on them to get anything done and I had to constantly put up with pitches for more money ranging from requests for $1500 to well over $7000. They are not reputable or honest and will tell you most anything to get more money. Fortunately, we resisted the money pressure and did ultimately end up with a quality book and very nice cover largely due to our own efforts and help from others outside of Prime Authors.
