The unit is well made. I dropped the charger on the concrete floor several times while installing and it didn't phase it. The wire is heavier than other manufacturers but is not difficult to coil or uncoil. I highly recommend the long cord over other units. It helps immensely with the placement of the receptacle and allows more freedom of where I park the car. The power selector is positive and easy to use. The product is right out of the box a plug and play device. 5 stars from me.
