Pure Food's Plant-Based Protein Powder is my favorite way to get healthy protein into my body every day. I mostly use it in my post-workout shakes. For years, I was using whey protein powders but they gave me bloat in my stomach that I didn't like. A lot of those dairy-based protein powders have lots of fillers in them that my body doesn't need. I'm not vegan, but this plant-based protein powder is the best I have ever used.
I discovered this product while I was deep-diving through the internet trying to find the healthiest protein powder on the market. It received extremely positive reviews everywhere it popped up. Once I tried it, it became my only protein powder. It's worth it just to know that what you are putting in your body is healthy based on the ingredients and reviews, but the kicker is that I actually feel better too.
The Cacao powder has a very natural flavor. It tastes like real food. It's not overly sweet like most protein powders out there. It mixes really well with banana and berries, avocado and kale. I also use a bit of cinnamon and it makes a surprisingly delicious shake that I look forward to after my workouts.
