quick and easy to get the code, my wife had caused the radio to lock out by entering the wrong code 10 times so it seemed like i couldnt enter the correct one, after looking online you press and hold the no6 button on my ford fusion sony mp3 radio for 10 seconds and it resets the entry attempts, the code then entered directly and press the star button to confirm. i also have another fusion where you press buttons 1-4 in sequence for the code, then confirm with button 5. for removing the radio to get the serial / type numbers, i found both cars difficult with the 4 removal keys, insert with the straight edge outwards, put a long screwdriver through each set and put slight outward pressure on the screwdrivers to ease the radio out just far enough to see the data label. i needed a hand on the sony radio so i could use a stanley knife to help lever the radio past the locks. will use rapid radio codes again if needed.
