Hi, I haven't used my BMW's car radio for 8 years as I once changed the cars battery one spring to discover the code that came with the car card wasn’t for the installed radio. I only use the sports car only on nice weather summer months. Throughout the years I’ve tried to contact BMW and other sources to get the 4 digit code It was through YouTube that I watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nedHHe257eE who promoted Rapid Radio Codes. The trick for us in Canada was to convert the North America radio to think it was in Europe and to use the 5 digit code from Rapid Radio Codes as compared to a 4 digit The SN that showed up on the radio screen apparently was incomplete and I needed to remove the radio to get the full SN number off the top of the radio tag. The rapid assistance at Rapid Radio Codes walked this “dinosaur” through the process and I was relieved to hear the radio again without the torture of the Code Wait timeline between failed attempts.
