I was planning to book a hotel via Rehlat's app. It would halt at the payment stage, and I contacted their support via verified WhatsApp account. They provided a quote which I agreed to, and they sent me a payment link. I paid just to learn that the price 'suddenly' went up by $350. I refused to pay extra and requested a refund.
Despite their promises to promptly issue a refund, nothing was done in a month. They do respond to emails with something along the lines of "we have forwarded this to our finance department on high priority and the latest information will be updated within 48 hours".
A month later they falsely claimed that "due to a technical error from your bank, the refund process has failed, we ask you to submit your bank account details below to initiate the wire transfer of the refund".
Obviously, this is just another false pretense not to issue a refund. The original payment was made with a card and could be refunded in a blink of an eye.
Long story short, there's no point in communicating with Rehlat's support. There are just 2 rules: 1. Avoid Rehlat; 2. If you've made a mistake and paid them for nothing but lies in return, file a chargback claim via your bank. They're not there for real business but to try and defraud you.
