Our gorgeous Charli cat gave our family so much love in the 16 years since he was first adopted by us. Our last heartbreaking day with him was made peaceful and so special as we said goodbye at home, on his favourite couch and blanket . We were given plenty of time to hold him, with candles and soft music playing. The vet was incredibly compassionate and let us have all the time we needed to talk to our boy and give him final cuddles and allow our dog (his best friend) to acknowledge him. It was a day of many tears, but also absolute relief knowing Charli went peacefully surrounded by so much love.
