My husband and I have rugged radios for riding. They work over a wide range of distance. We also run a park with quite a bit of acreage. They work from end to end covering a distance over a mile easily. Our lifeguards, gate guards and staff all use them without any issues. Just wish they were waterproof. The boat police on our lake also use ours in case of any incident where we can support each other.
Next on our list to purchase is a G1 communication kit for our side by side.
