I purchased the ShoeFresh shoe dryer two years ago, and initially, I was very happy with its functionality. Living in the Netherlands, where damp weather is common, this device was a lifesaver for drying not only my shoes but also my son's and wife's, especially after sports. It worked well for the first year, delivering exactly what I expected. However, after about a year and two months of use, the dryer started making an unusual noise after completing the drying cycle, something I had never heard before. I reached out to ShoeFresh customer support, expecting a quick fix or replacement given the premium price I had paid. Unfortunately, I was told the warranty only covered one year, and I would need to pay for the repair and shipping costs myself. Given the high cost of labor and parts here, I felt it wasn't worth paying nearly full cost of a new dryer just for repairs. I was disappointed by the lack of customer service, the limited warranty, and the fact that a relatively simple product came with such high costs for maintenance. In summary, while the ShoeFresh dryer performs well in the short term, I can't recommend it if you're looking for a product that will last long or come with premium warranty. If you're fine with paying a premium for just a year of use, this may still be an option for you.
