I heard of Skar audio and saw their products on amazon. I decided to do some research on Skar. From what I gathered, they were really good. I was all set to save up a lot of cash and purchase good JBL speakers. After reading reviews, I decided to go with full a full Skar setup. I went with pro 6.5 midrange in the doors and back panels of my Mini Cooper. Went with 3.5 super tweeters in the doors and mounted 1.8 super tweeters in the rear panels. Also went with the RP 5 channel amp as well as the new 8 inch subwoofer tube. Wow, the speakers are AMAZING! The 4 tweeters compliment the 4 midrange speakers soooo well. I have those running on 4 crossovers. Then I tuned the subwoofer and wow. Everything works so well together. I’m amazed with this system. I’ve never had a system this loud in my life. I can only turn up the volume so much before my ears can’t take it and the speakers DO NOT distort. I’m very happy with the purchase. I even bought the 12 inch box and amp package for my wife’s car and she loves that. That 12 inch will rattle your car apart. Lol. I’m sold on Skar products for life. I use to be all about Kicker back in the day. Not anymore. Skar is the way to go.
