Well, in all honesty I believe the 12" kicker I had sounded better and louder. And it was only running 400rms @ 4Ω... In the same sealed enclosure that fits specs for the Skar sub as well... May just be a tuning issue on my amp. Which I have not yet had a chance to do because of the weather. I have an Audiopipe 10001D...1000w rms @ 1Ω, 600w rms @ 2Ω, 400w rms @ 4Ω... I feel this Skar sub should blow that Kicker out of the trunk, but as of yet I am a slight disappointed.
