Its pretty decent for an 8 and does it's job good. Lots of high and mid bass but if you are looking for low lows, you may want to get the 10 or 12. My problem is having a small car (CRV), my battery and alternator is tiny and the only option was this 8 and matching amp due to the wattage requirements for optimal performance. I wish their 10s and 12s came in a 350rms version as well. Improvement over the factory setup indeed but more low lows wanted (not necessarily needed but 20 years of audio installs and spoiled).
