Skar is a great brand/company and I haven't had any issues with their products and don't expect to. This amp is replacing a Rockford Fosgate P850.2 I had for 17yrs. I'm still tuning this new beast of an amp, but so far it sounds awesome and it stays cool to the touch. I have the gain only about 1/3 of the way up and it almost pushes my subs as hard as my Punch amp that was 3/4 of the max gain. This amp puts down the power and sounds good doing it. I opted for the SKv2 line and not the RP line after much debate and research...glad I did. The RP line is great too and I purchased one for my girl last year and it still pounds. All in all....Skar is doing a good job and definitely helping the average person stick it to the "old heads" of this hobby. Good quality and fair prices...not cheap, but not overpriced either. I'm looking to buy some EVL subs pretty soon to replace some very very old W3s I currently run. Buy this amp...it's great! Clean power, class D technology, cool operating temperature, exceeds RMS rated power....simple installation.
