My recent attempt to cancel a booking due to an innocent mistake resulted in a nightmare of hidden charges and unhelpful customer service. Despite my immediate request for cancellation, I was blindsided by a £10 fee that was conveniently buried in the fine print of their terms and conditions. It's absurd that I was not explicitly informed of this charge before the cancellation was actually made, especially when contradictory terms promised a full refund upon cancellation! This deceitful practice is deceitful and completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury, the customer service representatives were beyond useless. Not only were they impolite, but they also displayed a shocking lack of empathy and refused to address my concerns in a meaningful way. It's clear that this company prioritizes squeezing every last penny out of its customers rather than providing a satisfactory experience.
