My family and I have always bought our appliances at Home Depot. When our range broke down, we went to Home Depot, purchased a range and they told us it will be delivered 5/24. No call, no show. Then they said 5/25, again no call, no show. I called and complained they said the earliest they can deliver is 5/30. I needed an oven by 5/27 because on 5/27 my boys had their birthday party with the family. I went online to Slyman Bros on 5/26 and purchased the oven because it said I could pick it up today 5/27 by 9am. This was perfect because family was coming in town at 4pm. On 5/27, I called to confirm and Mary Beth at the Ballwin location was very sweet and professional and said that the warehouse was closed due to Memorial Day. I was extremely disappointed and explained to her the reason I bought it is because they had some in stock and I could pick up the next day. Mary Beth worked with the Ballwin team and store manager, Greg, and got back to me stating Greg could go to the warehouse and locate the range and once he does he will give me a call. Greg called me and let me know the range was ready and he saved the day. He was extremely helpful, professional and went out of his way to save the day. I was able to pick up the range by 1pm and bake all my dishes before my guests came at 4. I am so appreciative for everyone who helped out at the Ballwin location and I will forever be a Slyman customer going forward.
