Whilst I was initially happy with the service I received, things soon began to unravel. Once they have yoir money, and promptly talked you in to the raft of extras, such as warranty, they soon become very difficult to deal with. I bought a BMW 420i and was sold a warranty with their preferred supplier, Auto Protect. I was never given a list of parts covered or the terms, and was promised by the slick salesman that it covers everything, that everyone takes out this policy and I'd have nothing to worry about. How wrong was I to believe him. Main coolant hose blew, which left me stranded. Feat not! I was told, you have Auto Protect.. firstly, most garages know how bad this company is so refuse to do work for them. Once the work was done, I was then informed by them that the hose wasn't covered. Despite it being buried deep in the engine, which required half the engine out to repair! Apparently, this is a serviceable item.. as if I'm going to have the engine out every year during its service.. Car Supermarket then refused to help, despite their service department saying they would personally pay for it. They will lie and tell you anything to get your business, then leave you high and dry. I will pay this invoice, then dedicate my time to ensuring nobody buys from them again.. for the sake of £350, it'll cost them many, many thousands in lost business.
