I just ordered (and received) a new silicone band to replace a previous one from the ID Band Company that I'd had for about 5 years. I replaced it -- not because the band had deteriorated -- but because some of the contact info on the reverse had changed. I had searched long and wide for medical alert bands and tags 5 years ago, and settled on the wide, silicone band from the ID Band company. The way they're made is that the "engraving" is akin to cameo carving through different-colored layers: The writing will not wear off, like it can with engraved metal bands and tags. The wide silicone band has room for more info than is normally accommodated by bands and tags from other vendors. I'm an extremely satisfied customer.
