I bought the Tropicfeel Shell backpack for close to £200, expecting a durable and reliable product. Unfortunately, on the very first trip I used it, the sternum strap broke, making the backpack practically unusable. I contacted customer service, but instead of offering a simple replacement strap or an effective solution, I was asked to provide multiple photos and details. I wasn’t even asking for a full replacement — just a way to fix a basic part. It feels absurd that such an expensive backpack is rendered useless because of one broken strap. For a premium brand, I expected far better quality and after-sales support. Very disappointing experience.
