We just returned from our two week self -guided tour of Japan. Oomi made all the arrangements and it went like clockwork. We based our itinerary on their Forgotten Japan tour but we worked with them to tweak it to fit our own interests. There are a few things we might have done differently—no one night stays!—but those were changes we had requested. We could never have figured out the scheduling of transportation on our own and they included very specific directions as to train and bus schedules and locations and provided all the appropriate tickets. The tour guides and special activities like kabuki tickets were all very good. Highly recommend!
