Product is very quiet when called upon. I like that it produces levels of clean water on demand. Like others have said, the amount of impurities removed by this device varies . When first called upon, the device let's through 4 times the amount of impurities. As you continue to run it, the amount of impurities removed from the water is almost complete. I have measured this several times & know this to be true. The water over all taste good and would buy this filter again.
