I’ve had the Wapiti size 44 for just over a year so time for a review. I got them at a discount price otherwise I’m not sure I would have went for the orange. Barefoot style shoes can stick out enough without being in a bright colour. But I got more used to that after they got worn in a bit and actually like the colour now. They fit great and are very comfortable. I’ve got 2 pairs of vivos (45) and a pair of xeros and these are the most comfortable/cozy. I think the boot helps the overall fit. I also bought the woolly insoles for them which I’m sure helps the comfort level. I’m not a fan of the split design sole, but that’s for personal reasons. It works fine on one foot but I’ve got a hammer toe on the second toe which causes a pressure point right at the joint of the split in the sole. It’s fine most of the time but causes an issue on longer walks on hard ground. I’d choose different soles if buying again. They’re pretty decent in light rain or damp conditions despite being fabric material. The can take a bit of water before getting through. I spray them with repellent occasionally which helps. They’re probably my favourite to wear on my local wooded trails and rocky beach, so long as it’s not too wet - Ireland!😁
