This was my first ever purchase of a yoga mat so I don't really have anything to compare it to but it is very comfortable. It is soft and slightly spongy so I don't feel like my bones dig into the floor during certain poses, but it still allows me to balance well - which is what I was looking for. I loved that it was made from recycled materials too. Overall very pleased and it was delivered quite quickly.
