Glass hob shattered one Friday morning, hadn't even used it that day. Repair booked, earliest time was 2 weeks, so 2 weeks in summer break, 3 kids, no hob, great. On the day, I call them up as we haven't been given a time, they say that the engineer was ill, so I called the repair company (they outsource repair) and they said the booking hadn't been made properly. Person at Zanussi was so unhelpful and didn't actually listen to anything I said, just kept repeating herself over and over again. Her message was basically 'either take the delay or cancel, I don't give a F' - Obviously she knew I had no choice but to take it so what can I do.....classic case of little people with lots of power showing their true colours
