I recently switched from BT Broadband to Zen FTP. Package options between 100MB and just under 1GB download speeds. Very efficient customer service and short wait times made it easy to get through to speak with their team. They are more expensive than some providers, but the agreed one year contract is sacrosanct with no price increases during the term. I would be surprised if I felt I needed to leave Zen at the end of the contract, but that one year term (versus the usual 18 months or two years with other providers, plus the prices increases during their contract periods) is worth paying a bit of a premium to be with Zen. After BT Open Reach completed the FTP installation I did have a technical blip getting Zen's Fritzbox router up and running. However, after being able to quickly get through to their technical department, we went through a step by step process to have everything working well. Some other residents in the area had also switched to Zen and it seemed to be literally a case of 'plug and play' for them, so I think the initial glitch that I experienced is not a common one. So far so good.
