Paid for a course on Monday - still waiting for a response from Alpha as there is no course content when I try to start the course. 3 emails and 2 phonecalls later and had no response of any kind. Want to get on with the course and no wasted 2 days so disappointed.

Meh is the best thing I can say. I paid for a beginner Spanish course through a online bargin website. I thought it couldn't be that bad. I was wrong. There are no activities. It's completely pointless. There's no way of testing or practising. A complete waste of money even if it wasn't much. So advertising the course at £318 is just completely insane. I wouldnt even do it if it was free. Just save your money and learn through YouTube. Also there are tons of fake reviews here as most of them struggle to say more than 5 words in English. Fishy...

I bought the beginner and intermediate course on groupon. I have been using Duolingo but thought this might help me understand the language better, I was wrong. I was disappointed that the course consists of a man with a whiteboard speaking only in Spanish! You can get subtitles. I don’t feel that this is easy to follow tuition. I’m not sure what I expected really as I’ve never bought an online course before, but I do know if they’re all like this then I won’t buy another. Sorry to be so negative but I find it difficult finding anything positive to say.

They took my money and then didn’t respond with an email to register. I tried to contact them and they ignored it! Very disappointed they didn’t even have the courtesy to respond!!! Guess I’ve lost my money 😐

If I could give 0 star, I would. I bought the "Interior Design and Home Decorating Course". Do not waste your money on this course. It is nothing more than a poorly written blog. Duplicate content in several units, no real logic in the organisation of the course, not one picture is of good quality (and all are clearly useless to the course itself), some units are created specifically for an American audience, then, for no apparent reason, we jump to a UK audience without warning and the entire program is full of spelling and grammar mistakes. Each subject is just a quick overview and doesn’t go into any detail, you will not learn anything valuable. I could have written this course myself simply copy-pasting Wikipedia. Oh and there is an entire unit telling you which courses you need to take to become an interior designer – Yep, you actually pay for a course on what courses you need to to pay for. You would learn more by reading Home Decorating For Dummies. This course is a total sham, avoid at all costs if you don’t want to waste money.

The course was great. I enjoyed it all the way through, although there was no assessment at the end it was just asking me to upload and assignment which there was no instructions for that what so ever. I also had my certificate included in my course price, when I went to order my certificate it was trying to charge me. Up until the poor ending of the course I really enjoyed every minute of it

I paid for a course which was full of spelling mistakes. The questions were not always relevant and were clearly not checked over as one had "2014" twice as the answer, when i clicked it I was marked incorrect but when i clicked the exact same answer it was correct. It says "no hidden fees" yet you are expected to pay up to £50 for your certificate. On top of this, I paid £9.99 in advance for my certificate and was then asked to pay again to get a certificate?? Not worth the money.

Spanish course was just a series of 3 minute videos. Non interactive, boring. Better free content on YouTube, seriously don't waste your time.

A total waste of time and money. Poorly written with a bias towards Chinese education systems. This is outdated and pointless. The questions are not even grammatically correct !

The course was somewhat informative but much of it was reading out instructions already written by the website provider and HMRC. Sometimes the course instructor didn't seem to know in advance either so was learning with us! I don't like the extra cost for the certificate

Xero Accounting and Bookkeeping Course. Whilst I am glad I did this course, I found the tutor extremely infuriating. I felt as though she had as much experience with the software as I did. None. Clicking through various options and mumbling away to herself as she did so. Numerous mistakes were made so had to wait for them to be corrected. I just had to get the course out of the way as it was putting me off carrying on with it. Although a beginners course it wouldn't suit anyone who was new to accounting. You will have to know all the terminology and what accounting is all about as none of it is explained to you.

Don't bother with the Sage course. All the files cannot be downloaded from the websites advised, therefore the back up cannot be loaded on to the sage package. Having asked Alpha Academy for the files, they said they couldn't provide it and to do the course from the screenshots without the sage course files paid for on the course. It advises to download the course from softtext.com and when you go to the website, it requires you to pay for the course again before providing the files. not satisfactory

Do not take the Event Management course... most of the video content Is advertising for American companies. The written content is full of grammatical errors and the case studies are poorly arranged.

Why there is a charge to get the certificate in PDF , i have already paid for the course , so why there is additional hidden charges when you finish the course..I already bought 3 courses and now I am regretting it as for each course i have to pay certificate charges additional to get my certificate. If you guys courier it than it is fine to charge but why for PDF and i am not even in UK , I am in Dubai. Very Disappointed , now i will not take any more courses from you guys.
