Lastly u should b able to confirm whether or not an item can be donated and the customer will b provided with a receipt. Advising customer to assume you were unable to donate if they don’t hear back from you with a form is too open ended.”
“We needed to remove some old TV sets from our house, and these were the old CRT style, non-flatscreen TV sets. The largest of them was in our finished attic area; it had to be carried down 2 flights of stairs, and it was HEAVY! We wanted to choose a company where the employees were insured in case of any injury carrying that monster down the stairs. We contacted 1-800-Got-Junk and from the first point of contact through the actual removal, their communication was great. Kevin and Andrew did a fantastic job getting that heavy TV safely down from the attic and into their truck, plus 3 other smaller TV sets. They were courteous, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I was nervous about pricing because this company does not give quotes until they arrive and see what must be removed, but I feel the price was fair and reasonable, especially considering the difficulty of getting such a heavy item safely down 2 flights of stairs. I am a satisfied customer, and I will definitely recommend this company to family and friends.”
