“Horrible experience. Stay away from these clowns. They don't know what they are doing. I ordered an A/C condenser and they send me one that was missing the studs guide holes. They strongly refused to admit their mistake and refuse to provide with a partial refund. They even send me a label to be paid AT MY COST, either by me paying for the postal label or me paying out of my pocket....for their mistake. So folks, stay away from these people.”
“Got the wrong part
try to return, they said will send a label
which didn’t happen I sent an email their response was that they’ll refund only like 30% of what I paid
I never had this issue with other stores
first time buying from this guys and it’ll be the last one”
“I bought a set of TRQ brakes and rotors for my 2016 Mazda CX-5 from 1aauto.
Everything looked good on receipt so I installed them following a good 1aauto video.
Within driving 200 miles I noticed my gas mileage was deteriorating.
When I took off the brake pads I found that they had 'chunks' missing.
As I need this car I went to local car parts store and bought new brake pads.
After installation mileage was restored.
I contacted 1aauto and was told they would not refund my purchase as I had installed the brake pads.
Having no confidence in their parts I wouldn't have wanted their parts nor would I have been able to wait to ship the defective pads back, have 1aauto inspect them, and then ship me replacements.
Maybe local auto parts stores cost a little more but they would have replaced their lifetime warranty brake pads on the spot.”
“Purchased rotors , brake set and gave me wrong hardware for back brakes.Contacted customer service ,what a joke.I think they have grade schoolers running it. Clueless.
just requested right hardware for back brake pads.Probably $4 - $5.Easy fix right.
Kept requesting more and more information, Giving me run around till I finally said enough! Tried to contact by phone. 30 callers ahead of me. Told them Goodbye.Purchased needed parts from RockAuto for $4”
“Ordered front end suspension kit 10 part set and they would not warranty replacement said the shop would have to give print out of every part that was defective and why... The shop I went to is just a regular old school shop they don't give print outs of what's wrong they only tell you what the issue is. They were supposed to send an email that I was to attach the service document from the mechanic BUT THE MANAGER NEVER DID I CALLED BACK TO TO TELL THEM THEY NEVER SEND EMAIL TO MY SURPRISE THEY WERE CLOSED!!!! I will never order parts from this place again.”
“Ordered a break kit for my 2013 Audi A4, did the front breaks just fine, had the back breaks broken down on one wheel and was going to put the new pads on when I noticed the anti vibration clips they sent looked nothing like the ones I pulled off, they were the wrong ones. Had no choice but to go to a local Audi dealer and get the correct clips as the ones I had pulled off were so rusted they cracked. When I complained and asked to be compensated for the locally sourced clips (which Audi charged $92.50 for) they just gave me the run around, saying there was no issue with the equipment they sent (even though I sent photos of the 2 clips side by side showing the difference). After complaining repeatedly they finally reimbursed me $22.07, will never do business with them again.”
“Zero customer service. Zero part knowledge when you call customer service. Then don’t follow through returns and fight the matter and lie . Do not give this company your money”
“They refund when products go bad but recently bought brake pads that lasted a month. Pad fell off metal backing and damaged the rotor. They won't cover the rotor per their policy.”
“I bought new struts from 1a auto inc in November, 2021 (5 months ago) for my wife's Honda Pilot. She only drives on regular roads and highways, and does not do any offroading or anything besides normal driving. She was driving on the highway on April 5th, 2022 when one of the struts broke in half. Luckily no one was hurt in the process. She had to get her vehicle towed to a local mechanic. They said they have never seen a new strut break like this in all there years as mechanics. The cost to replace the broken strut is around $500, not including a $150 tow bill, and rental car costs for my wife to get home and have a vehicle to drive. I asked 1a auto to do the right thing and only pay for the cost of replacing there broken strut, which they refused. Upon further investigation, I realized 1aauto.com has over 60 BBB complaints for defective auto parts that fall under normal driving conditions. 1aauto knowingly sells defective parts that fall, and could lead to potential injuries/fatalities.”
“I've made a few orders from 1A Auto.
They advertise same day shipping and even give you a date when your package will arrive. But they haven't been on time with any of my orders. The other problems I have with this vendor is there is non way to contact them other than email, meaning you won't hear back from them on any questions for a few days and even when they do email you and give you inadequate information, you have to email them again and wait even longer. And I've yet to receive a tracking # from them.
And companies wonder why so many consumers use Amazon and Ebay these days!”
“Sent the wrong size rotors, claimed I needed to know the correct size. I put vehicle info into their system & I ordered what it showed. Called & they said I could buy new correct ones. No return on the incorrect sice they were put on before realizing they were not correct, now considered used parts. Wanted another $100 for correct rotors NO!”
“Part promised 6/10/20 given shpg date of 6/5 sent email 6/8 and now advised new shpg date of 6/10. Anthony of csc advised will not expedite and out of their control. Not dependable at all. Their site has high ratings but unable to submit a review. Wonder how they got those ratings. BEWARE”
“I was sent the wrong harness for the Mirrors I purchased. They will work just fine after I modify that the harness that they sent me. Customer service has NO automotive experience at all and is of no help. Customers are not allowed to speak with technicians at all. I take them 1 to 3 days to discover if what you are telling them is true. Know ahead of time that you will need to modify anything that you purchase from them. I was finally told that their guarantees are not on all parts. Avoid!”
