Can’t really comment as of yet but all I can say is I wanted to call up and I waited for over an hour to speak to somebody but ended up giving up and just doing it online. Not a great first impression but I hope they do better next time.

Wasn't that easy renewing the policy on-line as it wouldn't accept the card payment for some reason. When telephoning about this problem, I was told I could pay over the telephone but I wouldn't get the online promotion. They offered a discount because of this. I agreed but when the payment schedule came through, the discount hadn't been applied. I contacted them again to be told that the computer couldn't apply the discount and that there was nothing they could do, other than cancel the policy. So I did.

I chose 1st Central because I already have a policy with you on another car and no problems as yet with service. I didnt realise that if I'd have taken out the 2nd policy through the site I would have received £50 cashback until I'd already used compare the market. I think as I still have 2 policies with the company it should still be honoured??

I was offered a good price if I took out renewed my insurance with you, wen I called back to accept offer it was denied, but when I went online to search I was offered a more expensive deal I was accepted. I thought this was very unfair and she's not ensure you keep your loyal customers happy!

I've been invited by 1st Central to review their service after taking out a policy that doesn't begin for 2 weeks. Therefore I'm in no position to do so, however I'll attempt to update this in the coming months.

Tried to organise a renewal with a minor change to breakdown cover and a new address - took 3 calls and a lot of waiting on the line before I spoke to someone who quite efficiently sorted it - but not before I had been sent documents for my renewal containing incorrect/out-of-date information.

While the process of applying online for !st Central I found their communication poor. The information I'd expected was not there until I contacted them.

I can't comment on how 1st central are as a company, all I can say is they took my money very efficiently, hence the 3 stars. I reserve judgement on how they perform as an insurer when I need them to work for me, if I ever need to claim.

I have yet to receive a confirmation email regarding my insurance and every time I try to set up an account to view my policy I am told that the password reset link has timed out even though I attempt to do it immediately after receiving the email!

We cannot change or remove the road side recovery in the policy.for example,i have a recovery assist already from other company,so i dont need a road recovery.many thanks.

Reason it’s only acceptable is that when you take out insurance prior to travelling and reach the desk to collect the car you have to pay their insurance on top of what you have already paid. Serious rip off.

I got a quote online and when I phoned up to insure my car, I changed the date from the 15/2/20 to the 9/2/20 and was told that I had to pay £60extra for the extra week because I’m more of a liability. I went back online and changed the dates and got it for the original price.
