“At the time of placing our order for a dining table set, we were told it would take 8-10 days to ship once the order had been processed. We ordered our dining room furniture almost 4 weeks ago and then received another update that we would not be receiving our order for another 3 - 4 weeks, totalling 7 - 8 weeks before we would receive it. We followed up with the store and this was their response with regards to their shipping estimates:
“timeframe primarily pertains to the shipping process itself and does not include the transit times, which can vary based on several factors including the logistics of the delivery addresses involved. Regrettably, transit times can only be accurately determined once the order is processed, and the logistics between the origin and destination addresses are established. Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to provide precise delivery estimates until after the order has been placed.”
We would have ordered our furniture elsewhere if we had known that their shipping process takes this long. Very misleading shipping information on website and unhelpful customer service.”
“I purchased an item and the color was misrepresented on the website. They offered a very small discount and said it was a courtesy discount. If I wanted to return the item, it would be at my expense. This is not good business to misrepresent merchandise and then have the customer pay to get a refund. I will not do business with this company again.”
“I purchased a small outdoor table. 2Modern had the best price and I received it exactly when they said I would. The table was expertly packed and arrived in perfect condition. We couldn't be happier with it.”
“Received and it was damaged by the shipper. Called and sent pictures. And they sent out a new one. We sill aren't sure how it goes together because the directions are really bad and they just tell you to put the bracket on the bar but it won't fit no matter what we do. I guess we will see when the new one comes.”
“Website works great and selection is great. However on all the items I ordered it stated Ships in 3-5 days, not estimated to ship it said Ships. I ordered my items on May 31st and they still have not shipped. It is definitely disappointing and will impact where I place future orders.”
