If you are looking for a youth glove I would skip 44 pro and go with an a1000. The 44 just feels clunky , lacks feel and a bit heavy for younger players. The website is great and the designer is great. In my experience they have been less than responsive when sending them dm on instagram and other social media platforms. All in all a mediocre experience But for youth players save your $ and go with the Wilson.

I paid for the break in the thing is like a hunk of wood very hard kid can’t even use it it was a waste of money had dicks sporting good stern it and try to break it in 2 times still hard as a risk will prob be the last 44 we ever buy if it can’t get broken in

So I have purchased 2 gloves now and highly disappointed. So bought a 1st baseman’s glove that has broken twice at the pocket which granted I thought first time was a fluke. At a 15U level this shouldn’t happen. Then bought a catchers glove that after 3 months is still hard as a rock. Spending $400+ per glove I expected more and better quality. Gloves look great but aren’t for competition level play. Customer service is a joke and will not cover if you ordered a custom color so it is a valuable lesson learned. Parents/ Players go for the give that will hold up and so it’s job when you’re playing or putting in the work. Better gloves for play at cheaper or equal to this.

I purchased a glove that cost twice as much as a store-bought one, expecting higher quality, but within just a week, it developed dye stains. When I reached out to customer service, instead of addressing the issue, they asked if I used leather conditioner to remove the stains—completely missing the point. I was frustrated by the lack of seriousness in handling my concern. Given the price, I expected much better quality and support. Very disappointing experience.

Ordered the batting gloves for my son - they look great and can as ordered. However after just one or two practices there were serious signs of wear on them. Reached out and they said this was normal. Have used many others types of batting gloves and didn't have that type of wear until several months in.

Glove is nice, but disappointed with the lackluster response from customer service. Ordered two nearly identical gloves and the color match is horrendous. Customer support was not solution orientated whatsoever.

The glove looked cool but is very small. My hand won’t even go in it. When I spoke with them about it. D sent video, all I got back was “that is as big as we can make it.” So it sits in a. Ox.

Unfortunately, the laces in my son’s glove broke 4 days after getting the glove. I reached out to support and the only solution was they offered me $25 refund for me to go get the laces fixed myself. With the cost of the glove and shipping to Canada, I was not impressed.

Waited so long for my glove to come in just for it to rip in my first throwing session. Really did not expect a brand new glove to start to tear where the pocket is in the FIRST time using it.

I love that I was able to customize my 44 infielder glove…The leather colorization looks awesome. I do not like the fit of the finger pockets. They are too small for an adult-size fit glove. Ordered my son a youth infielders glove and the finger pockets are much more generous. The palm of the 44 is not great either. Has a wrinkle/crease that bothers me. Honestly, I have a A2000 DP fit that is much better fit and quality for close to the same cost.

I usually don’t write a poor review but felt the need to for this order. My son and I both love the 44 brand product. My son has multiple custom field gloves and we even purchase a pair of custom batting gloves. The BBCOR bat took 3 attempts to get to us. Twice it got lost in transit. Stuck at a distribution center in PA. Then, to make it right you guys sent us a $50 gift card which was very thoughtful however the card expired in an hour. Never got to use it. The credentials sent for the gift card kept saying it was expired. Dropped the ball on this order multiple times.

My son took the time to design his second 44 glove. He also has a 44 bat…. Less then a week later a huge sale went on. You can not call to speak with anyone, so I emailed asking would you honor the sale. The answer was no. If this were a chain store. The sale would have been honored without question. If you could have actual human being interaction, the sale may have been extended. You gloves are great. Your customer service is atrocious.

i ordered custom batting gloves 2.5 months ago and still have not received them nor do i have proper shipping /tracking info. should be noted they sent me tracking information for someone else's item to start with. No one to talk to or communicate with, all you can do is send an email and wait days for a response!! This is my 5th time ordering from 44 and they were telling me they don't ship to where i live. Very disappointing. Have ordered custom glove from different vendor now as a result of this experience!

I was quite annoyed that I couldn’t change the size of my glove less than 10 hours after placing my order. 100% they did not cut the leather prior to my request. I understand how tedious it must be to accommodate every request but mine was not reviewed, I believe. You didn’t want the hassle, I get it. Hopefully the glove works out. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Other manufactures sell customized gloves. 44 ranks below them, win my opinion and experiences.

Even though the quality of the glove is OK, I would not use 44 pro again due to poor customer service. I took 8 weeks to complete the order. Even though this is longer than the typical standarized time talbe, it would have been OK if the system would have updated us correctly. Our glove seemed to be on track, but then got stuck in shipping for 3 weeks. About half way through this time, we got an e-mail asking what colors to change our stictching to, since their website had an error. I responded with a new color, and asked how it passed QC and went to shipping if the glove has not been completed. I did not receive a response, then put in a inquiry with customer serivce, and never received a response. It seems as though it was falsly being pushed through the system. I could not find a phone number to contact anyone during this process. I would not use 44 again due to the customer service alone.

It’s been over eight weeks since I paid for my glove and it still hasn’t been finished. The communication has been lacklustre to say the least. It took over a week for the design team to understand my custom logo that I had provided in multiple formats, which should have been easy as I am a graphic designer. My last update is telling me that it might still take another week plus then having to wait for it to ship to me and then break it in. My season starts tomorrow so it will be at least another month before I can use this glove. Really disappointed as this was my second custom 44 after loving, my first one which took almost half the time.
