“Brought my bike in to have it serviced. When I came back to pick it up, bike was covered in sawdust. I took it home to clean it, only to find that the fork had been scratched / chipped in two placed during the service. I had to bring to bike back to have the damage assessed, and was offered a $50 gift card for the inconvenience. Initially, the workshop had tried to buff out the damage they had made, but the dents were sufficiently deep that the repair was not effective. Having insistent the damage needs to be repaired properly or the fork be replaced, I left the bike with the shop again. The fork was then replaced, however, in picking up the bike, the dust cap and wheel tool were missing. Coming home, the brake lever had a fair bit of brake fluid spilled inside it (from when the fork was being changed over). This was overall sloppy workmanship. After all that, the store then informed me that, because I had asked for the fork to be replaced, the $50 voucher was being revoked. Overall, not a positive experience.”
