“I have purchased two bikes now from the Lawnton team. Both experiences were great. This last purchase was a bike upgrade for my six year old. The team were patient with the size up and I always appreciate that they are interested to know what I need and my budget rather than simply pushing a sale. Looking forward to our next purchase.”
“Picked up a Norco Storm 4.1 for the 8yr old son. He loves it so much and we can barely get him off it. Trigger shifters have definitely helped him with gear changes. Great first mountain bike for rides with dad.”
“I have been wanting an e bike for sometime but nothing suitable appeared to be within my budget. I had seen this bike and liked it and was very happy when it was available in the EOFY sale, I purchased it for ~$850 with my gold membership. I've ridden over 200kms in the time I've had it and I'm very impressed. It takes a little time to get used to how much assistance to use, depending on how much exercise you want to get. I suspect you could happily cruise on full assist at ~25kms per hour with little effort if you wanted. I prefer to have assist on level 3 and put a bit more effort in myself on the flat. My regular ride is 27.5 kms (commuting), this takes me about 75 mins and i burn on average 1000 calories so you can use this for exercise. The bike accelerates quickly from standing and you can find yourself at about 20 km/h before you realise. It is excellent on long hills and I average about 20 km/hr on the climb from Indro to Towoong bike path, often overtaking people on road bikes, the road bikes will catch you on the way down as the top speed on this bike is quite low (I've had about 45 km/hr downhill at least 10 km/hr slower than my road bike and there are much quicker riders than me). I've been very impressed with this bike: Pros: Looks great (I've had compliments), fast acceleration, great on hills, work hard (or not) if you like, pretty intuitive to learn to ride. Inexpensive for an e bike. Cons: Heavy bike plus basic gears means a low top speed but the top speed isn't the point. (Understandably) no option for attaching bottles/pumps, etc. After a few weeks of riding this my journey time is virtually identical to the time it took me on my road bike when i was reasonably fit. So even though the top speed is lower the average is pretty much the same, plus the hardest bits (accelerating and hills) are now the easiest bits. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking to buy their first e bike. My wife got a step through version and is also very impressed. 5 stars even with the minor cons.”
“The bike is excellent quality and price. we waited for our son to outgrow his first bike to see if we should invest in something of better quality, and we were all rewarded. The staff are super friendly, patient and helpful at Bondi Junction. we will be coming back again and again.”
