“First: the 9barista does exactly what it should, a very good espresso! So here I would give 5 stars, the only thing that I would criticise is that it is a quite small double espresso and that you cannot make more in one cooking session. For an espresso it is fine. If you want to mix it with milk, it is very small and doing a second one is quite quick but you have to do the process twice. That said, I knew it would be like that, so no critique, I just thought it would be a bit bigger.”

“Bought the 9barista espresso machine with bag, precision filter as well as induction plate. The quality of the espresso machine is excellent. It took 2 runs to find out the heat settings on the oven. Espresso is very tasty and consistent reproducible. There are 2 points left: 1. our AEG induction oven hardly recognizes the induction plate with the 9barista on it. I ended up in placing a pan close to the 9barista until it powers up and is working steady. Don’t know if this is on our side only?! 2. the bag is beautiful but I fear there is enough space to put in an additional grinder as well as a pitcher. Also the idea of taking it with you on top of a mountain sounds beautiful but this is a heavy one ?. Overall I love the product very much. Good quality, great espresso. I combined it with subminimals pitcher as well as nanoformer - a great combination for travel - cappuccino lovers. I can definitely recommend!”

“A lovely machine, always an object of interest to visitors. Had a few leaks but it might be that they were due to my misuse. Some friends have tried it and found it difficult to unscrew. It always produces a great double espresso, which can be used as a base for a milky coffee.”

“There´s not that much to say besides of that this is the Espresso Maker i had in my dreams for the last couple of years when i was unhappy with the "Bialetti" machine y used to have and unhappy to buy this huge Stand-alone Espresso machines. Coffee is amazing, the use is (in my eyes) simple and it´s just great to have all this in such a small, minimalistic design. There´s just two points i am a little bit unhappy. First is the weight. This thing is heavy!!!! So unfortunately you will never ever bring it in your backpack to a summit nor to the beach or to any other remote place where you have to think of the weight you bring. SAD! The other thing is the Chimney. Guys, seriously? You graded this beautiful clear design, all made of stainless- and forged stainless stell down buy adding this tiny little plastic piece of chimney. Obviously it doesn´t bring down the quality of the result but in my eyes it just doesn´t fit to the sophisticated rest of the design. My suggestion: V2 in (if technically possible) titan and weigh reduced with a sexier chimney. BOOOOM!”
