“Everything that is called On-line is being turned into a tool to exploit citizens in every possible way. Damart is sending me a cheuque instead of refund.. They say that I paid them with a cheque whereas I have never paid anything with a cheque in my entire life...!! They withhold my money for weeks !!.. Because banks have shut down too many branches, there is no bank in my area.. and I will need to travel to reach the bank just for Damart's cheque/refund.. Everyone, particularly banks and businesses are hiding behind screen, and they have made it too difficult to reach them.. on purpose I suppose!!.. I am personally Done with On-Line all together!! .. I am really tired and fed up.. CASH & FACE-TO-FACE & BUSINESS AS USUAL .. that is the old and centuries tested way of trade. That so called technology has been made like this, to allow unlimited abuse and aggressive behavior against every citizen. What is coming next upon us.. if we continue accepting their abuse..??”
“I recently ordered a set of two cotton vests size 14/16. When they arrived they were not as featured in the catalogue and so narrow I thought they must fit someone size 6/8 ! When I phoned and explained this to someone in the so called 'customer service' I was amazed at her rude and unhelpful reaction when I also told her that the wrong size label was probably applied in the factory, she said this was impossible. No apology was given and she would not agree to refund my postage, and for these reasons I will not be using Damart again.”

I waited several weeks for it with explanations for the delay. It arrived at last and the colour was certainly not dark sapphire blue as described but more of a greenish turquoise. Very disappointing. I will keep it as not worth returning it. I tried to let customer services know but not possible unless I paid for a phone call. Shame. Pleased with rest of order.”

Today they finally arrived, but they are different from the photo on the website. Those trousers are tapered at the calf but the ones I received are wide and flap around. They look like clown trousers. I am annoyed as Damart charge for both delivery and returns. I complained once before when an item did not match their description but they refused to refund postage.”

Having read reviews from other people sizing issues are a common occurrence.
Its now going to cost me half the price of the briefs to send them back to exchange for a larger size .How is that fair and reasonable ??

“I had a laugh to myself about the reviews left about the so called free gift of a padded parka supppsedly worth £45. At least the persons remarking about it got it. I got an order today, was told the parka was out of stock and instead was sent a cheap and nasty vinyl black multi zip bag that would hardly hold anything. How I am supposed to wear this to keep myself warm I do not know. I thought the parka would be good for wearing when we are keeping the central heating low, seems not when reading others comments. I will be closing my account with Damart, will be a relief not to be bomarded with emails and catalogues.
I did phone Damart to complain about this and was just told that it is in their terms and conditions that if an item ffered is out of stock, they will send something else instead”
