“The quality of their plants are poor, I had some roses that were withered and needed watering as they had been neglected, they were very reluctant to give me my money back.

“I absolutely love Gardens4You. Found them by accident, when searching for a pink peony, and bought 7 peonies from them, plus all the tulips i needed, and 3 irises, and an aster. All arrived, beautifully packed, 3 days later....but a hosta instead of the aster! Contacted customer services , who were very polite, said I didn't have to return the hosta, and gave me a refund.
So, I went back to the site, bought 17 irises, [I am an artist, and love painting irises!] some hedging plants, a crab-apple tree, and a Dutch rose that I hadn't been able to find anywhere else. Again, really well packaged,very good quality, fresh plants, and only 3 days later.....AND free packing if one spends £50, plus a free house plant
So, I have just put in an order for some more hedging plants,another 3 irises , an ornamental grass.....
I only have just over an acre of garden, otherwise I would have bought more of their lovely plants. They made me Very happy!!!”
“They are based in Netherlands even though they use a .co.uk website. I ordered a set of plants and they had sent me the wrong ones. After weeks of trying to communicate with them finally got through and agreed they would refund me the cost for sending me the wrong plants.
I was then sent a fake email stating that the refund was processed to the bank details which I provided to them. It’s been over 1 month and the money hasn’t come and they do not reply to any communication. It’s a scam. So please avoid this website
I am thinking of trying to report them to the Netherlands police as well.”
“Sent me two sickly specimens, both battered and looking very poorly. They had cost me over £20, one I managed to save, but unfortunately the other died a couple of days after planting. I tried to claim on the guarantee and sent a long email to their customer service with photos of said plant. I sent the first email on Sunday 13th May 2019, they sent me a generic reply giving my reference number and stating they usually get back within 24 hours. No reply or answer so yesterday I sent another email with the given reference number asking if they could please get in touch. I had nothing yesterday or today, this is diabolical customer service and I am absolutely livid that they quickly take your money for substandard plants but have the decency to get in touch with a genuine complaint. I would highly recommend not using this company.”
