Terrible experience. Machine did not take cash so had to use my bank card. Payment showed as pending twice but for some reason did not go through (there were sufficient funds). Then got hit with PCN notice so I appealed. Just received another letter saying they haven’t heard from me and the charge has now gone up to £100. Just emailed them again with proof of my appeal but I don’t hold any hope. Very poor customer service and completely unsatisfactory and unprofessional. Stay clear!

This was really shame I am delivery driver I got a ticket to park my car for less then 2 minutes I appeal they decline I call them they said pay this now then email we will check it and will refund I paid over the phone then when I email they said you already paid they are dineying this now which is shame

Shame on NPC! Nothing than a company based on making money! They took over the parking area where I live and decided to create rules over the night. You can’t park if you don’t have a permit, and for visitors you need a visitor parking permit, but here is the trick, when you ask them to issue you one, the answer is “we are not allowed to” . So, to have visitors over my house they need a visitor permit that I can’t get anywhere, the fine for not having a parking permit is £100. Parking bays are not wide enough, maybe just for a Smart car. To park correctly within the bay, means to not be able to get out of your car because you will damage the car next to it open the door. If you don’t park correctly within the bay, is another £100 Got 3 tickets of £100 each for “not having my parking permit displayed” needless to say that not just that I DO HAVE IT displayed, but it is so visible in the photo they took when they issued the tickets, that I can even read what it says on my permit, outrageous and disgusting. When I tried to appeal and showed proof, they emailed back saying that is nothing I can do and I need to pay because my permit is not displayed. It just feels like their answers are on autofill, no one is thinking . Also on the ticket it says “if you don’t pay we know you full name and address and we will come and recover from you”. What is this? A parking company or gangster that you owe money to? All they are doing is to make money and find reasons to take the money from honest people! I am absolutely fuming and don’t know how to fix the tickets problem since no one cares.

Shame on you NCP Got my car broke Into and my belongings taken Staff was not helpful saying that I have to contact the police !!! Please don’t park your car in these car parks

Utterly dreadful from end to end. Total. And this car park is a premier site in London. Dealing with obviously call center in India beyond appealing. Never again I would have been better off street parking and paying the fine!

I am writing to bring to your attention some serious issues I encountered while using your NCP Scarborough Balmoral service, both in May and again today. During my visit in May, I experienced significant difficulties when trying to exit the car park. The app was unresponsive, causing a frustrating delay about 15 mins before I could leave. While that experience was already concerning, I decided to give your service another try today, expecting that such issues would have been resolved. Unfortunately, today's experience was even more disappointing. Upon entering the car park, the app failed to open the barrier as expected. A staff member advised me to take a ticket instead, which I did. However, I later discovered that the app had already charged me for parking, and I was also required to pay using the ticket when exiting. Despite explaining the situation to the staff at the machine, it took 30 minutes to resolve the issue, during which time I was subjected to verbal abuse from other drivers behind me. I find it difficult to understand how a company of your stature could allow such poor service at one of your locations. Not only have I been charged twice for the same parking session, but I also experienced severe emotional distress due to the aggressive behavior of other drivers, which I believe was exacerbated by the fact that I am not a local and of Chinese descent. This incident left me feeling deeply hurt and discriminated against. I kindly request that you take immediate steps to improve the service at this location to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Additionally, I ask that you refund the double payment I was forced to make today. I trust that you will address these concerns promptly. If these issues are not resolved, neither I nor my friends will consider using your services again. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I want to express my concerns about this company, which I believe promotes Zionist ideologies and exhibits racist behavior. There are claims that they unfairly fire Muslim employees who are not comfortable with tasks they haven't been trained for. The managers at the Birmingham City Centre and BHX Airport locations are reportedly biased and discriminatory, showing a lack of respect, particularly towards Muslim taxi drivers. This company's practices seem to reflect outdated attitudes and discriminatory behavior. It appears that the company’s ownership, based in Japan, and HR operations, based in the Philippines, have contributed to an environment of racial superiority. I wanted to share this perspective to inform others who might assume the company is reputable.

Went over by 1 minute and got charged £17.80!! Will not use these carparks again... ever!! Disgusting to charge such a high price for 3 hrs 1 minute 😡😡

Parked in NCP Exeter. My coins went straight through the machine so I downloaded the app which took an inordinately long time. The app would not sync with my bank details. I left after 20 minutes of frustration generated by NCP & i had not even managed to leave the carpark. I then received a £100 fine. I challenged it as I felt I'd been held to ransom. The fine was reduced to an admin fee of £20 but it was clear that my explanation had not been read. Im furious. I wonder how many people are being ripped off like this. This is criminal. I will not be using NCP again & will copy this review to every feedback site available.

Gatwick airport. Did a pick up 2nd May. Went on their system to pay. Car registration number not recognised. Tried this for 2 days and same message. I stupidly thought system not working. Then got parking notice for payment. JUST BE AWARE INFORMATION OF YOUR CAR REGISTRATION DETAILS DELETE AFTER 24 HOURS AND YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE WITH NCP

I used an NCP car park twice successfully. The third time, 3 different machines all refused both cash and card payments. Other customers tried, too - and had the same issue. In the end we all gave up. Two weeks later I get issued a fine. So, I'm fined for being unable to pay when their machines were broken, even though I'm a previously paying customer. Their customer service is terrible. I entered an appeal process and they shut down all channels of direct communication. When my appeal was unsuccessful (despite my providing evidence), they immediately handed my fine to a very threatening debt collection agency and the fine had doubled - with no explanation. So, I was punished for daring to appeal my fine. Their parking meters are very unreliable, as is their mobile app. I would advice anyone reading this to avoid parking in an NCP car park if the machines show any signs of not behaving properly. Don't bother appealing a fine and don't waste your time with their customer service. I'll personally be avoiding in the future.

We used Manchester Central car park. We arrived there completely unaware that it was un-ticketed. We downloaded the app, followed the instructions. We got a PCN from them a few weeks after we got back. There was a picture of the car reg entering and leaving the car park. Why did they not use that to time our stay, and charge the card we registered in the app, rather than sending the fine. Unclear signage, unclear app instructions.

On 31/1/24 I signed up with the Greater Anglia - NCP station parking portal ready for a trip to London on 9/2/24 giving them my car and credit card details and received an email acknowledgement. I used the car park at Manningtree station on 9/2/24 expecting to receive a 12 pound bill through my credit card. On 8/5/24 I received a letter in the post demanding a 100 pound Penalty Charge Notice. The letter was dated 19/4/24, so the 14 days reduced charge period was already exceeded before I received it???? I went online to the portal and there were no outstanding charges showing, so the automatic payment system didn't work. I appealed using their system and they reduced the PCN to 20 pounds, but I still feel aggreaved that they have never billed me or issued a reminder, just straight to PCN. If they can acknowledge me automatically by email, why couldn't they send a reminder? Clearly their system has failed.... why should I have to pay for their incompetence.... I have leant my lesson, I shall avoid NCP car parks in future... their loss.

Car broken into in the secure car park. London Bloomsbury park !!! Ncp were no help at all after the horrific incident. Shame on you NCP , you should not be able to trade. At least warn everyone to leave nothing in the cars. Cars had notes on saying nothing in car . How do you sleep at night ????? It will take a long time to recover from this nightmare.
