“Stubhub is the worse seller. Stick with Ticketmaster. I purchased tickets then the seller canceled the transaction. I never accepted the tickets because he canceled it before I could accept. When he cancelled, I bought tickets elsewhere. Stubhub will not give me a refund although I never received the tickets and they can see where he canceled them. Shame on you Stubhub-- never again!”

Their customer service people are polite when they answer the phone but show no interest solving a problem. when I requested a supervisor I was hung up on twice. I finally got a supervisor named John who both unhelpful and rude. They are refusing my tickets but making me $42.56 for parking. THEFT”

“For whatever reason Stub Hub allows the seller to wait until 2 hours before an event to send tickets. They guarantee they will give you equal or better tickets or give you your money back. Well recently I traveled to an event. I called them 3 hours before to let them know that I had not received my tickets yet. They said I should wait until 2 hours before and call them back because their policy is two hours before. They told me this is a very high rated and trusted seller. They said they are pretty sure they will come through and if they didn’t they would give me equal or better tickets or a refund. I told them a refund will not help me because I have travel expenses for this trip, airfare, hotel, etc. They said they understand and believe I really have no reason to worry as the seller is very trusted.
I called back 2 hours before because I still didn’t receive the tickets. They said they would remind the seller to send and if I didn’t have them within 1/2 hour I should call back. In 1/2 hour I still didn’t have them and they said the venue doesn’t release the tickets until 1 hour before the event so call back. When I still didn’t receive the tickets 1 hour before I called them and they said they would escalate this and if I didn’t have tickets soon they would get me equal or better tickets or issue a refund. I again explained to them that a refund is the last thing I’m looking for because I traveled specifically to see this event. We were now 30 minutes away from the event start time. I called again, they said they will send me a link to collect different tickets. They didn’t hang up and asked to to click the link. I clicked the link and it said no other tickets available. They apologized and sent me my money back. I went to the box office to buy tickets and explained what happened they told me they were sorry but the event sold out days ago. I told them what happened and they said it was absolutely untrue that they waited 1 hour before to release the tickets. I had $1000 in travel expenses and didn’t see the show. I have 2 other events that I bought prior to this. One is mid November one is late November. I received the late November tickets 3 days after I purchased them. I didn’t receive the tickets for the mid November event and it is now 3 weeks before the event. I am growing worried and called to ask when I might see my tickets. They told me that the sell has up until 2 hours before the event. I told them I again have a flight and hotel scheduled and cannot have this happen again. They assured me this is a highly rated seller. I told them that’s what I was told in the past and the seller didn’t come through. I asked them if they can just give me my money back so I can buy from a place that I can make sure I get tickets. I cannot afford to spend money for flights and hotels to see an event and NOT see the event. They said they cannot give me my money back, and reiterated the seller is highly rated. I asked them to please try to push the seller and they said they cannot control the sellers. I told them until they change their policy I will never buy through them again.”

I paid for great ticket down front at the Fox Theater in Atlanta and received tickets in the back of the Theater with limited view instead. “I bought a parking pass that cost me $88.44 for a football game. This parking was at a private home but listed through their site. When we got to the area, we found out that the address listed on parking pass DOES NOT exist. We even asked the neighbors and were told by them that the address does not exist. I tried to cancel the parking but was unable to. So I sent an email with this issue telling them we had to pay an additional $35 for parking. All they gave me back was $22 to put towards a future event. Seriously? What happened to 100% guaranteed? Clearly that is not a thing. So now I will be calling my bank to report it as fraud.”

“I shipped my tickets with the shipping label provided by StubHub. 3 attempts were made to the seller, who never picked up or made arrangements to get the tickets. The sellers complained they never received the tickets. I had proof of attempted deluveries, and StubHub attempted to fine me 100% of the costs of the tickets, because "it was my responsibility to insure the tickets gof delivered". StubHub provided the shipping label, proof of 3 attempted deliveries, but I was at fault.”
“Didn't get tickets until 2 hours before the start of the show. Once I received them I went to go into the venue, but they wouldn't scan. I was directed to the venues box office where I was told the ticket weren't legitimate. In order to see the show I had to buy a second set of tickets. I contacted stub hub the next day, but they said unless I had proof I didn't get to attend the show, I would not get a refund. They said I need a video or pic of the scanner not being able to scan the barcode on the ticket. This was the next day and I was already headed home (out of state).”
“There are know words to describe the experience with Stub Hub. The only way I can think to describe the experience is a scam. They get your order at full price and when they unable the deliver your tickets they start a negotiation to keep you hooked until the event has started to avoid giving you a 100% refund. By doing this they end up making 20% to 30% without providing any service.. What a racket. I’m going to turn them into Attorney General of the state of Missouri..”
