“I ordered tickets a month ago, received th QR code for each ticket. The day before the event I received an email the the seller can't fill my request and to choose an alternative offer. So based on recommendation from Stubhub help desk, after my 5th call with them 9ver this issue I selected accept. Then received an email my alternative offer was for 2 seats vs the 4 I purchased. So I call Stubhub back for the 6th time ans was advised to wait until 6am Pacific time(3 hours before my event starts) once I got someone on the phone I was instructed to accept another alternative offer as the new current seats were not. Finally I decided to request a credit and try again. BOTTOM LINE, DO NOT USE STUB HUB.......TRY TICKETMASTER or SEAT GEEK!!!!! Worst experience ever”
“I recently went through Stub Hub to purchase two tickets for the Indiana vs Charlotte football game on September 21. The seller has cancelled the transfer of these tickets and so I notified the customer service dept of Stub Hub to get this resolved. They have not been able to contact the seller and keep telling me they are working on it. With a little over a week left before the game, my patience has worn thin and am not gonna wait on them the day of the game to find me other tickets or refund my money. Their policy fora refund is the morning of the event. How can anyone plan a trip to a football game with these policies. The game starts at 11:00 where I live. And its a two hour trip. You don't just find a parking area, you plan in advance. I'm going to "eat" the money I paid Stub Hub and go through another vendor to purchase new tickets. As for the seller who has refused to transfer the tickets, I'll let him "eat" those tickets because I am not gonna wait any longer to wait on his transfer.”
“I purchased tickets for a concert at the Western Wa Fair from Stub Hub.. We paid $732.73 for 4 tickets. I received the receipt but Stub Hub doesn’t allow access to the ticket QR until the day of. On the day of the concert only 2 tickets would pull up. I attempted to resolve it with Stub Hub but the AI chat option sent me round and round. We attempted to use the tickets at the venue and were told Stub Hub often rips patrons off by selling the same tickets to multiple people. I had to purchase 4 new tickets from the venue directly in order to attend the concert. After the concert I again attempted to resolve the issue with Stub Hub and was told the reason the tickets didn’t pull up was that the concert was over. I assured the company this was not the case. I had documentation of the issue and venue manager also documented the issue. The Stub Hub employee ended the chat and would not respond when I attempted to resolve it again. Visa took care of the issue the next morning.”
“Be careful when selling tickets on Stubhub. Some of the application functionality has changed and if you make an error they will charge you a lack of fulfillment fee without your knowledge and apply it to your card on file. They blame the charge on you and their customer service team is not help.”
“This company's business practice is as follows:
1. You buy tickets
2. They make the ticket transfer process complex so that seller cannot figure it out
3. The seller fails to transfer you your tickets
4. They give the seller up to one hour before the event to transfer you the tickets.
5. When you dont receive the tickets you only have a short window to fill out the paperwork they require you to fill out to get a refund
6. If you do not fill out the paperwork in time they keep your money despite you never receiving your tickets.
Very fraudulent business”
“I listed some tickets with them and then they tell me they will expire in 48 hours. So after 2 days it's the day of the event and it starts within a few hours. At this time I give my tickets to my family to use. As they are on the way to the event I get an email (after they should have expired) saying they were sold. I said they can't be sold anymore and they are now charging me $580 for the tickets that I never even sold. They hide behind policy and won't do anything.”
“I posted tix for sale. A day later I checked my app to see if the sold since I reviewed no email. It said I had no listings, so I thought an error occurred, so I uploaded and posted them again, still no email that they sold. So I check the app again, but now again it says I have no listings, then I start clicking on everything in they’re app, oh my god, you have to click on this accordion down arrow on my sales and now it exposes a confusing category called open - completed. I see I’ve sold my 4 tix twice! F$&k, so I called customer support and they said there was nothing I could do and that I was going to be charged the extra 4 tix! So now I given up my concert tix, and I OWE stub hid $160. Talk about f&$king both sides of the market place! The seller is screwed and so is the buyer and stub collects on both sides, what a racket! I hope Jamie Oliver does 10 minute segment on these bastards and gets them shut down.”
“My son bought two etickets from them for a concert in Japan. They didn't send the tickets to him till couple hours before the concert. However, the names on the tickets were the first buyer. When my son and his friend got to the entrance, they won't let them in as the names didn't match. The organizer has the policy saying that the name on the ticket has to match with the user. They need me to proof that the organizer has this policy before they can refund the money to me. So I did but they never reply messages. So now I got nothing back. We need to let more people about this scam.”

“scammed too. I bought 3tix for Skynyrd and another person wanted to come. i bought an additional ticket right next to where we were sitting. I called every day week of concert cause tix didn't come. Morning of concert I called again and was told seller would release tix 3:30pm. I told them we will already be at vendor. they said if tix didnt come thru that they were guaranteed and we would have seats together. Since tix were bought in 2 different orders they said 3 would be together and the other one would be somewhere. Long story short, rep talked me they screens for replacement tix and he had me click on link. Even though I never "accepted" the tix -- it didnt matter. 3 tix not refunded cause I clicked link where I was told to click. the other single tix for $49 I got refund. Went on Ticket Center and bought 4 seats together center pavilion for $7 each. I will only buy instant released tix from now on. It was stressful and annoying. Ticket Center was instant mobile tix. Beware of Stub Hub. They used to release tix soon after purchase but my last 3 times were making me worry. the last time, tix didnt come. At concert, someone else was sitting in my original 4 seats. Double sold my seats and the other person got them. Beware!!! I never received refund for my other 3 tix - $137 down the drain. sucks”
“I bought tickets in April 2024 for my boyfriends birthday. The show is today and the tickets were voided. I called stubhub numerous times and the last rep wanted me to call back 3 hours before the show to see if they were able to solve the problem. I called stubhub yesterday, the day before the show, and still nothing. So let me tell yall that even though you receive a notification that you can claim your tickets, it's not true. I received a refund and here I am scrambling trying to get tickets. This is the 3rd time this happens to me and I'm done with stubhub.”
“I currently bought tickets to the Tennessee titans NFL game. The tickets were sold to me by a 3rd party. It was the handicap section. I called customer service to get new seats. “Piece of sh:t company. I bought parking along with some Manchester United tickets. The parking code they gave me didn’t work and the shuttle that they promised never appeared. When I contested the charge, they refused to refund the money for something that was never provided. Don’t trust them.!”
