"I was reluctant to buy World Cup tickets from StubHub due to all the \"canceled WC tickets\" videos I've seen on multiple platforms. I was desperate to attend at least one game, so I did it. If things went south, I'd get replacement tickets or my money back. Thankfully, everything went smoothly. I have bought from StubHub before, so I thought it was an immediate ticket transfer. For WC tickets, it was not because the transfer was via a FIFA account. I called customer service, and they quickly explained the process and contacted the seller to verify if the tickets had been transferred - seller confirmed. I saw the tickets in the FIFA tickets mobile app. The bar code isn't activated until game day, 4 hours before kick-off. This is not StubHub, btw. It's FIFA's security process. All in all, StubHub came through with very expensive tickets, and their customer service was excellent in addressing my questions and dealing with the seller."
