“Ended up being great. Purchased 2 day pass. Seller only had single day ticket. Spent 20 minutes trying to text a bot, then 20 being condescended to by a bot over the phone before spending 20 minutes repeating myself to a person. Was upgraded but very disappointed got scammed. Will continue to use you for tickets but am wary now”
“I had a very disappointing experience with StubHub. My son’s concert was postponed, and when it was rescheduled, the venue changed the event to 21+ only. He is 19 years old, so through no fault of his own, he was no longer allowed to attend.
Getting StubHub to even acknowledge that the event had been rescheduled was difficult. After multiple conversations, we were told the issue would be addressed, but we are still waiting for a refund.
When an event changes in a way that makes it impossible for the original ticket holder to attend, customers shouldn’t have to spend weeks or months chasing a resolution. The lack of communication and the time it has taken to resolve this has been incredibly frustrating.
I hope StubHub improves the way they handle situations like this, because customers deserve timely responses and fair treatment when circumstances beyond their control prevent them from using the tickets they purchased.”
“They were very proactive and contacted me to verify I had received the tickets before the gates opened. I I had not received the tickets yet so they switched my seats and I had a new ticket in 5 minutes. The last time this happened with a different company it took over an hour to get my ticket.”
“Every purchase I have made through Stubhub has been great! I have not had any issues with event or parking tickets. Adjusting the time of entry for parking was quick and easy.”
“StubHub provided the absolute worst customer experience I ever encountered from a 3rd party ticketing company. I originally purchased three infield box seats at Wrigley field (which StubHub confirmed by email) however they later substituted the tickets for three inferior seats in the bleacher section of the ballpark, which is completely exposed to the elements and way further from the action. There was no proactive communication about the substitution and no offer to refund the purchase. It wasn’t until I contacted StubHub the day before the game that I learned of the substitution. StubHub claimed there was an issue when the original owner tried to transfer the tickets. Apparently, StubHub’s platform / service failed and under the auspice of their so-called “customer guarantee” they stuck us with vastly inferior seats. On the phone I insisted the issue be escalated because the baseball game was less than a day away. The agent said she could not do that. What a huge disappointment.
In Summary - we didn’t go to the game because my wife can’t sit in the sun for 3 hours due to a health condition. It’s been three days since I complained. There has been no refund generated and no apology from StubHub, just business as usual. My advice is use Seat Geek and stay away from StubHub.”
