“Paid over 1000 for 2 tickets. Got to the venue and we couldn't access them. Called customer service they gave us 2 awful tickets in place and offered no refund. Avoid at all costs”
“Please do not use this site! I put my Phillies tickets up for sale. I follow their directions exactly. Went round about with reps they gave me a song and dance and long story short I don't think I'm getting my money. This place has their scam down to a t. Funny thing is I work for Bank security and I am going to delve into this. Because this site is ripping people off left and right.”
“Stubhub is ridiculous.I will never purchase through them again. They make life difficult when getting tickets to any event. Do yourself a favor use my ticketmaster.”
“Their app froze on my phone while listing tickets. Upon refreshing and finishing the listing it had posted twice and sold all tickets twice. Now they are saying I will be charged the amount for the tickets sold in the second listing even though I never received the money from the customer.”
“I would give them a zero if available. I purchased tickets and received an email the next day stating they were not available . In exchange I was offered tickets behind the stage with an instructed view.”
“Stub hub partners up with PARKWIZ to rip off their customers by recommending VIP parking passes during ticket purchases. I paid 62 for a VIP parking pass to our Los Angeles venue. There was no VIP parking. They give you an address of a parking garage 1 mile away with no way to scan the QR they provide. Then stub hub Says they have no connection. Wow I can't believe companies are allowed to legally steal people's money like this. STUB HUB AND PARK WIZ WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY DONT PURCHASE PARKING PASSES, THEY ARE THIEVES”
“If I could give them no stars I would. Stubhub doesn't tell you this, and it's nowhere on their site for you find out, but they don't qualify ticket transferability prior to selling you the tickets. Many venues require purchases to go through specific reselling partners or their own ticket site, but Stubhub will still list and sell them only for you to find out you don't have any tickets. You may get your money back, but you definitely won't get to see the game/show.
My most recent experience (and my last with them) had me spending hours on the phone over the course of two weeks trying to get them to transfer my tickets. They kept sending me email saying the seller has transferred the tickets and to look for a third party email to accept the transfer. That third party email never came. They contacted the seller and sent me other links and kept me on hold for hours, and still no progress. No email. No tickets. They will make you wait until the day of the event to see if they figure out the problem before they consider issuing other tickets or a refund.
In the end, their platform doesn't have in internal transfer structure to trade tickets. It has to go through Ticketmaster or another ticketing platform. If that platform doesn't work with Stubhub (and many don't), you're hosed. They won't tell you that. You'll find out the day of the event.
I will NEVER use Stubhub again. This company is trash. Their customer service is nothing but a gatekeeper to prevent you speaking with anyone of any influence. They have nothing but excuses. Never again.”
“AWFUL COMPANY! I puchased tickets for an Ohio State football game, and a parking pass. Stubhub never mentioned the parking lot was 5.3 MILES (yep, 5.3 miles) from the stadium and that was no shuttle or transportation service to the stadium. Had this "little" fact been mentioned, I never would have bought the tickets.
Because of the distance, I tried to resale the tickets. But much to my surprise, Stubhub told me I had to contact the "original seller" to get the tickets to the buyer. The "original seller'???? Foolish me, since I ordered the tickets from Stubhub, and since my credit card statement shows a payment to Stubhub, I assumed I bought the tickets from Stubhub. But nope - I bought them from some unknown vendor.
A friend and I spent 3 hours trying to figure out who this mysterious "original seller" was. We through all the emails from Stubhub but could find no mention of this "original seller."
Bottom line - the sale couldn't be finalized, Stubhub is charging me a $100 fee for this.
STUBHUB STINKS!!!!”
“I am having a really bad experience with Stubhub. I bought tickets for the concert via Stubhub For $200 each and I found it the same tickets and seats for $50.00 each. I won’t use this app again”
“This company is a total rip off i purchased tickets to the millennium parking garage at 10am for a bears game i arrived at 10 purchase the tickets at 10 and tried to use it the meter would not allow me to use it because they couldn't be used until 11 am so i had to purchase another one from the meter. I talked to workers on site about refunding my money back for the ticket and they told me to call the company when i called i was told it was after hrs and call Tomorrow so i did just for a manager to tell me im not getting a refund because they have no record of me calling them. But they can see the pass was not used. Never ever again will i use this sorry company and u guys should be ashame of yourself taking people money i hope your company falls to the ground”
“Horrible company to do business with, purchased tickets and my price was suppose to be locked in at 77ea. Time ticking I made the purchase and didn't realize that my price was not locked in at 77ea. I was charged 99ea ticket that also increased their fee per ticket by 9ea for a total of 124 extra. This company doesn't help you if you are a buyer and the only option they give you is to relist. After i made my purchase i searched other companies and Ticketmaster has the same tickets listed at 61ea and for 4 tickets it comes out to be 266 less. Will never use or recommend StubHub to anyone.”
“We bought parking passes for a football game. Should have had then at 10am but we didn't. At 1145 they txt me and say the seller they're working with doesn't have them. So we end up parking elsewhere and taking a bus to game. Then on way back we stand in said bus for an hr before we are returned back to where we were parked. I call fir a refund because they say 100% customer satisfaction. After over an hr on phone he tells me I can't get a refund because I didn't respond in the proper amount of time. However I did several times but it was sent back saying can not be delivered. Oh all of a sudden this email doesn't work how convenient. I have learned to read reviews. It may not be alot of money but almost 100 bucks to park. 61 then 40 service fee, fee for what to screw me. Shame on you stub hub shame on you”
“Yes, I am having a really bad experience with Stubhub. I bought tickets for the concert via Stubhub. Unfortunately, I have received tickets for the wrong event. Since that time (already for 2 months), I have called 4 times to the Customer Service of the Stubhub, had long conversations with the representatives ( 1 hour each time), have heard a lot of promises for the quick resolution. NO RESOLUTION so far. Every time they say, we are going to resolve your issue in the next couple of days. Nothing... I call again after waiting for one or two weeks, and hear the same promises.
How many more times do I have to call to make them resolve this issue?/ Awful business.”
“You are F*****g thieves. Your policy basically says, were going to just "take" your money. Well, you did take it. Just thieves. Oh, we will call you back today? Still waiting. $147 dollars plus $300 cause I had to buy new tickets at the stadium. $447 dollars later. F*****G thieves.”
“Stub Hub is the worst customer service provider I have ever dealt with!!!! I bought tickets 2 months ago, and then they decided to change venus 2 days ago across the state - 5 hours away. They refuse to refund my money and they say the stand behind there business 100%%
Please don;t order tickets through Stubhub!!! Trust me”
“I spent about 2 hours on the phone with Stubhub customer service trying to sell 2 tickets that I purchased from there. I listed them incorrectly the first time, then did exactly as the customer service representative told me to do and deleted the listing and relisted the tickets correctly. The payout should have been $156 (I paid $240 originally). The customer service rep also must have created a listing the same day. They charged me another $197 for the two unfulfilled listings on top of taking the $156 i was supposed to be paid for the tickets. I did not go to a concert that ended up costing me $600 and a total of 3.5 hours on the phone with customer service. Bad practices all around and employees who don’t care. Save your money and avoid a huge headache by literally buying tickets from anywhere else.”
“I ordered parking tickets for a football game. Stubhub did a bait and switch. They sent me a parking ticket 5 miles from the venue. I spent hours on the phone with customer service. Stubhub made numerous promises and didn't live up to any of them. FanProtect is a complete joke. I ended up eating the costs and having to buy my tickets from another ticket service at a higher rate due to the time passed.”
